Featured Project: Subsidized and Transitional Employment Demonstration Project (STED)
Branch Associates, Inc. is a subcontractor to MDRC on the Subsidized and Transitional Employment Demonstration Project (STED). The Administration for Children and Families (ACF), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, funded this study to rigorously evaluate seven innovative subsidized employment models. Subsidized employment programs use public funds to create or support work opportunities for economically disadvantaged people, such as TANF recipients, noncustodial parents, former prisoners, and other low-income parents. The evaluation uses a random assignment design. Branch Associates is assisting with the implementation task on this initiative.
