Featured Project: Pennsylvania Tobacco Prevention and Control Program
Branch Associates, under a multi-year subcontract with Public Health Management Corporation (PHMC), has been evaluating the statewide tobacco prevention and control program operated by the Pennsylvania Department of Health for the past ten years. The evaluation team provides comprehensive program evaluation and technical assistance services. In recent years, the evaluation has focused on collecting data to assess policy initiatives such as clean air, workplace, and housing policies to improve the health of smokers and nonsmokers. In addition, the evaluation team collects standardized data on the effectiveness of cessation programs. The evaluation team provides technical assistance to the Department and regional contractors in data collection, management, and analysis.
